Renaissance Marquis Retirement Village Recognizes team member, Melissa Weeks for her dedication and service
Rome, GA. (May 3, 2023) — Renaissance Marquis Retirement Village, an independent living, assisted living and memory care community serving Floyd County, honors Melissa Weeks for her long-standing and excellent care to the residents of their community. Melissa Weeks has dedicated 22 years of service to Renaissance Marquis, helping to contribute to their excellent quality of care and service.
A Rome, Georgia native, Weeks has worked at Renaissance Marquis Retirement Village as a caregiver and medical technician ever since the facility opened to the public.
“I love working with seniors and I believe it is what I was made to do. My favorite part of my job is hearing the stories from our residents about the ‘good ole’ days’. Each of them has a special and unique story that is just waiting to be heard,” Weeks said.
“Melissa has been a staple in our community for a long time. She is passionate, gifted and her gentleness towards the residents is a valuable part of Renaissance Marquis. It is an honor to have her as a part of the team. We believe our care and services are better because of the hard work that she puts in each day,” said Allen Chambers, Senior Executive Director of Renaissance Marquis.
When Weeks is not found at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and spending time outside. She loves camping, taking nature walks, swimming and floating down the river.
