Catie Mason promoted to Assistant Executive Director while also completing an extensive Executive Director in Training program

Rome, Ga. (April 2023) — Having worked for Renaissance Marquis for the past 10 years, Catie Mason has been promoted to serve as the Assistant Executive Director, all while completing an extensive Executive Director in Training program. Legacy Senior Living, which operates a family of senior living communities across the eastern United States including Renaissance Marquis, in Rome, Ga., believes strongly in the development of their future leaders and is excited to welcome Mason into the program.

Mason is a Rome, Ga. native and has served as the Resident Services Director at Renaissance Marquis for 9 years, where she has flawlessly managed the nursing department. Catie started as a caregiver, and eventually a CNA at Renaissance Marquis. She was quickly promoted to manage the Harbor memory care neighborhood until she received her Licensed Practical Nursing Degree, at which time she was promoted to serve as the Resident Services Director for the entire facility.

“Catie continuously exemplifies her servant-hearted leadership for seniors. She has distinguished herself as a passionate and dedicated leader while she served in numerous roles at Renaissance Marquis. Catie is a natural caregiver and leader and I’m so excited to see her continue to grow into this new leadership role,” said Bryan Cook, President and COO of Legacy Senior Living.

The Executive Director in Training program is a fully immersive program designed to help leaders gain experiential knowledge in every facet of the facility.

Throughout the next year, Mason will build upon her already extensive experience as a nurse and will spend time working in areas that extend from financial and personnel management to dietary awareness and maintenance. Upon completion of the program, Mason will pursue her Georgia Administration Licensure exam.

Mason, a Rome, Ga. native, lives on a 135-acre farm that has been in her family for over 100 years with her husband, Doug, and two children, Sadie and Brodie.
